Terms of use
Last updated Sunday, 1 November 2026
These terms apply to everyone who uses Innlark: the hotels, guesthouses and resorts that subscribe to it, their staff, and guests who book through a property’s booking page. By using Innlark you agree to them. If anything is unclear, write to us at hello@innlark.com.
What Innlark is
Innlark is front-desk software. It helps a property manage rooms, bookings, guests, payments and invoices, and gives each property its own booking page. Innlark is not a travel agent and is not a party to any booking: the contract for a stay is between the guest and the property.
Bookings made through a booking page
When you book through a property’s booking page, the property sets the prices, the taxes and the rules for cancellations and deposits, and decides whether to confirm your request. The property is responsible for providing the room and for any refund it owes you.
Prices are shown in the property’s currency and include or add taxes as stated on the page. Please give accurate details: the property uses them to reach you and, in many countries, must check your identity on arrival.
If something is wrong with your booking, contact the property directly. Its phone number is on the booking page and in your confirmation.
Accounts for properties and staff
A property’s owner is responsible for the staff accounts they create and the roles they give. Keep your password private, use your own login, and tell the owner or us at once if you think someone else has used it.
The property is responsible for what it records in Innlark, for having a lawful reason to record it and for answering guests’ privacy requests. Innlark provides the tools for this: data export, erasure and automatic retention periods.
Acceptable use
Do not use Innlark to break the law, to store data you have no right to hold, to send unwanted messages, or to try to reach data belonging to another property. Do not try to disrupt the service, probe it for weaknesses without our written agreement, or copy or resell the software.
We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, after warning the owner where we can.
Fees and trials
Properties may use Innlark free of charge during a trial. After that, the fee agreed with the property applies. If a fee is unpaid we may pause the account; the data is kept and can still be exported. Guests never pay Innlark for a booking, and Innlark takes no commission on bookings.
Availability and data
We work to keep Innlark available and the data safe, with nightly backups. Like any online service it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. Calendar links to booking sites depend on those sites, which read them on their own schedule, so close rooms by hand on busy days.
Each property owns its data. It can export guest data at any time, and when it leaves we delete its data after a reasonable notice period, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Messages to guests
A property can send guests messages about their booking from Innlark, such as a confirmation, directions before arrival or a receipt. These are service messages about a stay you booked. A property must not use Innlark to send advertising to guests who have not agreed to receive it, and every message is recorded so the property can see what was sent and when.
Ending the service
A property can stop using Innlark at any time by telling us. Before it leaves it should download the records it needs to keep, such as invoices and guest registers. We may end the service for a property with reasonable notice, or at once if it seriously breaks these terms.
Responsibility
Innlark is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost bookings or lost profits, and our total liability to a property is limited to the fees it paid in the previous twelve months. Nothing in these terms limits the rights consumers have under the law of their country.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and we will tell properties in advance about significant changes. For questions, write to hello@innlark.com.
